@bushontheradio Stop. Beetroot is meant to be left in the ground, it has no place in the human mouth.

@GermainLussier It was Superman 3 for me...which I'm happy to say I at least got to see in the cinema though I certainly did not expect that climax to give me nightmares for so long. JAWS 3D was another. 1983 was pure trauma.

Do you remember the first movie you saw on opening night? A film that was so important to you that you told your parents you just HAD to see it IMMEDIATELY? Well, I do. I was 11 years old, and it was If Looks Could Kill, starring Richard Grieco, which turns 35 this week. (1/2)

@DiscussingFilm Has this guy made anything apart from crime, thriller or drama, got no range in filmmaking. Yet he thinks CBMs are not true cinema. And people compare him with Nolan and Kubrick

First look at Martin Scorsese's next film ‘WHAT HAPPENS AT NIGHT’, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence. The film follows a married couple who travel to a small European town to adopt a baby but nothing is quite as it seems.

@Variety Chloe Zhao made Nomadland. That was a small character driven movie. Just because she won the Oscar for that film does not automatically make her qualified for an superhero film like Eternals. It was too big for her. Nor for Buffy. It’s not her wheelhouse.

EXCLUSIVE: Sources say Chloé Zhao ultimately proved a mismatch for the “Buffy” reboot, with the pilot reportedly undershot and lacking coverage, requiring reshoots. Her filmmaking style, while acclaimed, didn’t translate to a dialogue-heavy TV pilot, and the new cast’s performances were said to be under-directed, making it difficult for the characters to land. variety.com/2026/tv/news/b…

"I May Destroy You" creator Michaela Coel is writing and directing a remake of Jean-Claude Van Damme's martial arts classic "Bloodsport" for A24. "I have long been in awe of fighters, and astounded by the discipline, intensity and isolation the sport demands of them," Coel said. I am excited to explore this world, especially so with A24 as my collaborators. LET'S FUCKING GO." wp.me/pc8uak-1lH1XX

Dionne Warwick, upset with misogyny in rap lyrics, once set up a meeting with Snoop Dogg and Suge Knight at her home, where she demanded that they call her a “bitch” to her face. Snoop Dogg later said, “I believe we got out-gangstered that day.” Effortlessly cool photos: bit.ly/4cFoZT1
