Guiliani threatened to jail me for refusing to testify before the grand jury against my husband (we had a toddler & 3-mo-old baby). I wasn’t jailed because I had a prominent pro bono attorney but several other defendants’ family members & activists (grand jury resisters) were. >>

Rosie Jimenez would have turned 73 today. The conditions that Rosie faced in 1970's Texas are much like what we see today. Rosie deserved access to safe abortion care, as we all do. We hope her memory will serve as a reminder of what’s at stake for people seeking abortion care.
