When I could hide my disabilities, people accepted me. When I couldn’t hide them, they tolerated me. When I became vocal & demanded ableism be addressed, they abandoned me. This is why we need a Disability Pride month. This is why we need advocates We shouldn’t have to hide

Attacking @scott_colom on racism so that the actual racists stay in power. Amazing.
Ty Pinkins for Mississippi@TyPinkins

Racism has shaped, and continues to shape, many of the policies and institutions that produce inequality across this country, especially in Mississippi. If Scott Colom is unwilling to name racism directly before reaching Washington, voters have every right to question whether he will confront racially discriminatory policies once he gets there. Clay Cane: Is Cindy Hyde-Smith a racist? Scott Colom: “I can’t look into her heart. I don’t even know her.” Clay Cane: Is Donald Trump a racist? Scott Colom: “I don’t know. I can’t look into his heart.” Clay Cane: Would it hurt you with voters to say Donald Trump is a racist? Scott Colom: “These are clickbait questions. Voting rights are not clickbait. Discrimination is not clickbait. Policies that disproportionately harm Black Mississippians are not clickbait. And calling out racism is not clickbait. A Black leader seeking the support of Black voters should not be reluctant to name racism when the evidence is plainly before him. Scott says he is focused on Mississippi voters, including Black voters. But Black Mississippians have spent generations confronting inequality rooted in institutional racism. Don’t we deserve a senator who will speak truthfully and directly about that history and who will have the courage to confront the policies and institutions that continue to perpetuate it? Watch the exchange and decide for yourself.

“Felony camping” is the charge they have made up for being homeless and are using this against that community to ship them off for slave labor at the prisons.

Never forget: They wanted Kamala Harris to stop the genocide as a VP with no power. Has anyone asked JD Vance to end the war with Iran? They will always expect and demand more from Black women while allowing white men to be mediocre as possible.

One thing the hysterical outcry in my mentions has exposed is that people don’t know what “contrarian” means and thinks it’s simply “person who disagrees with me” rather than someone who purposely takes the contrary position whatever that position might be often to piss ppl off

ICE is kidnapping and raping women, killing women in cold blood in the streets, and suspected of trafficking missing kids facility to facility as parents and advocates search for their whereabouts. And now they have been given complete and total immunity from accountability.

In reality, progressive feminist‘s only objection to what is happening here is that NFL cheerleaders are not paid a living wage and are often sexually harassed at the workplace. We literally like and support these women more than y’all do, we see them as workers with rights.

The Heritage Foundation — the same think tank that wrote Project 2025 — just published a report arguing that competitive women's sports should be scaled back and replaced with "group fitness classes, dance, yoga, recreational intramurals, hiking clubs, and the like." Their stated reason? Fertility. They argue elite women's athletics make women less interested in having children. The masks are off. Watch: youtu.be/EmAvUDFSk4g
