Team of the Week: @Weareenumclaw After a tough loss in the opener, the Hornets have bounced back, outscoring their last 3 opponents 157-25. With big wins over Beamer, Kentlake & Federal Way, they're in the driver's seat for the 3A NPSL title. Congrats Coach Gunderson & team!

Recap from yesterday. 6th:33-0 win over GK 7th: 20-7 loss to GK 8th: 28-0 loss to GK 5th; 25-12 loss to GK 4th: 26-6 loss to Peninsula 2/3: 12-6 win over Gig Harbor Next week we are on the road. 5th through 8th will be at Peninsula. 2/3 and 4th will be at Art Crate Stadium.

Wednesday I was told I was “a class act as a coach”. Friday I was told “your girls are well coached”. I’ve never heard that in football and I’ve been doing it since 2017. Maybe I found my new calling. Absolutely hate the season is almost over. I’m going to miss it.

The girls and families have been great. I was scared to coach a bunch of HS girls mainly because I was scared I’d fail them. I’ve adapted and adjusted as the season has gone on. I absolutely love the sport. I received two of the best compliments a coach can get this week.

Never thought I’d coach anything but football until I was tired of it. Had dreams of potentially coaching HS ball and maybe even college one day. Then on a whim, I decided to coach basketball. Girls basketball at my local HS. I have fallen in love with the sport.

Former Jr. Hornet committed to play at the next level. Congrats Gunnar! Go show those other schools what they missed out on.

Registration is open. Open for current 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8 players.

7v7/5v5 registration is live at 8 am this morning. Limited roster spots. We have registration link for 5/6 & 7/8 7v7/5v5 and for 3/4 just 7v7.

Our cheerleaders were working hard tonight preparing signs for the send off on Saturday for @Weareenumclaw’s semifinal game against Anacortes. Great job ladies.
