@jrobertmiles That’s an interesting thread. Agree with the conclusion that long-term thinking is good. Disagree with the idea that JIT is net-negative over the long term because of it’s fragility wrt black swans like covid. Seems like the alternative would be extremely wasteful in good years.

The NBA wastes over $8 billion every year.
And it’s just a bunch of egotistical rich guys flying though the air. Not productive.
