@gar1879903 @Lea_EFC Fuck! Think I've inadvertently given Brentford a head start over my team. Should've closed my eyes.

@laligaandbeyond Yep, I live in Spain and am fan of a non-Spanish team but follow La Liga closely. Whether it through, Marca, As, El Larguero or any other outlet, its only ever these two and maybe 5 mins towards Diego Simeone (not even Atleti, but Simeone watch).

What people outside of Spain might not fully realise is just how much media time the big two take up. Today's news on El Chiringuito is the time Arbeloa arrives for training which is also a plant to a friendly broadcaster on look how hard the new coach is working. The big two live in their own ecosystem where everything is discussed, scrutinised, I remember living in Spain and you'd see a referees decision against one of the big two replayed for 10-15 minutes and stopped and analysed second by second. Even the benches are watched during the game and analysts will debate and analyse body language, try to read lips. These two are so much bigger than any other club out there.

I have never wanted to leave the UK more than I have in the past 3 months. The only thing holding me back is the Arsenal. I just can’t imagine a life where I’m waking up in the middle of the night to watch Forest away.

@hispanicnomad Wrong about Spain. I've lived in Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona. The level of English is beyond poor and along with Italy by far the worst in all of Western and Southern Europe. Recently I traveled from Barcelona to Copenhagen and the notice in level was stark.

@themagic_tophat I live in Spain. Many have recently really started asking why David Raya isn't number 1, and not because Unai Simon is poor. Watched El derbí de Cataluña last night and Joan Garcia was utterly immense too.

The discourse around Arsenal fans being unbearable is a direct reflection of how other fansbases treat us. People will spend an entire week talking nonsense.. and then when we win, expect humility. Why should Arsenal fans always be the first to be humble?

@liverpxxl9 @TheNapoliZone It used to be good around 8-10 years ago. I used it as my primary reference and it worked fine back then. As always, you will need to other references to go with your primary. I am now C1 fluent, in part due to the app. However, it is now a total sack of crap.
