Since an FIR has been filed against me, I want to ask the Health Minister a few questions. JP Nadda ji, why is FSSAI going after those who are raising questions instead of those accused of wrongdoing? In a Democracy, does an ordinary citizen not have the right to question alleged irregularities in public institutions? We exposed alleged corruption and irregularities in FSSAI’s recruitment process. Instead of investigating the matter, FIRs are being used against those speaking in the public interest. Is this accountability or an attempt to intimidate and silence dissent?

@runjhunmehrotra Because gov employees cannot be fired even if they dont work or do crime. These IT folks pay huge tax, more than 15-20 L/year and dont use any gov benefits. No benefits at all. The tax money go to freeloaders in some cases pension of gov employees.

The Modi government has completely failed to handle the crisis triggered by the war in the Middle East. The stock market is crashing, LPG shortages have forced many businesses to shut down, people are queuing for cylinders in scorching heat, migrant workers have been left without livelihoods, and the rupee is touching record lows. The entire world knew the war could break out at any moment. Why was the Modi government caught unprepared? Why didn't we make adequate arrangements and secure alternative supplies well in advance? Why is every crisis passed on to the people? Why must the common man suffer because of this government's failures?

Allowing income tax payers to vote is the only solution. Anyone paying 6 figure tax, his vote weightage should be 10. If money is gonna be used to manage everything, only they should have a right to choose a right candidate. Second, there should be online poll every two and a half years that if you are happy with your MP, if polling falls is negative, re election should take place in that constituency. This is the only temporary solution to fix this mess where we are going downhill in everything. Voting rights for everyone are grossly misused.

Indian democracy! A person who works hard, pays taxes, follows rules, shows civic sense, and genuinely wants the country to progress has exactly the same electoral value as a selfish, freeloading, law-breaking, corrupt person with zero civic sense. The problem is that the latter exist in far greater numbers. And politicians know it. So policies are naturally designed to squeeze the productive, tax-paying minority and redistribute it to the freeloading majority, because that is where the votes are.

The basic that can be done is: improve basic city infrastructure and cleanliness. Not a big thing to do. And I'm very sure this will be done by India as a national level project over the next decade. Like China started doing in 2008-now. India is getting to those GDP levels.

If I had some agency, I would definitely launch a national study on how the minds of so many Indians get programmed so favorable to foreign countries. That they sing praises of them even while they are clearly failing to protect them, but India does. And do something about it.

With so much on the line, people need to accept that we are not going to start opening up and playing expansive football. The one thing Arteta does need to do though, is rotate the squad correctly. Timber cannot play against Everton, he’s knackered. I’d also bring in Calafiori and give Hincapie a rest. I’m taking Zubimendi out and playing Norgaard. Madueke starts ahead of Saka. Martinelli can get back on the subs bench, and Havertz has to start. It’s a huge game and one we have to win, but we have to rotate and use our squad. The next 10 days are huge. It’s that simple.
