Tomorrow, we won’t be able to control the weather, the attitudes of the kids, or the number of annoying emails that flood our inbox. But... we can control the number of times we smile, the number of high 5’s we give, & the energy we bring to work. We can actually control a lot!

You don’t build rapport with teachers through emails.  You do it by walking the halls and being in their rooms…. connecting with them where THEY are. You build it through conversations.

Let’s allow the unfathomable depth of God’s love to settle us. Breathe hope into our dread. Trust into our doubts. And give us a soft place to land each day. His love is a certainty… even when life feels so very uncertain.

I hope you remember today that God still speaks. To each of us. Individually. Right where we are. I’ve never heard the audible voice of God, but He speaks to me in so many other ways. Through His Word. Through the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Let's ask Him to give us ears to hear all that He wants to say.
