NEW: California woman was left paralyzed after falling off a bridge during an ATV excursion in Mexico and waiting 28 hours for help after medics refused to treat her until she paid $24,000
Makeup artist Nina Bakhshi was celebrating her 28th birthday in Cancún when the guided ATV tour turned into a nightmare
While crossing a wooden bridge, one of the tires got stuck, flipping the ATV and sending her through the railing
She fell and suffered severe fractures to her neck and spine
Workers strapped her to a board and carried her out by hand. She was then driven an hour to the nearest hospital
Once there, doctors allegedly refused to operate for 28 hours until her family paid $24,000 upfront. Bakhshi had no travel insurance
Her friends and family maxed out credit cards to cover the cost
She finally underwent major spine surgery more than a day later. Doctors say she’s lucky to be alive after landing on leaves that softened her fall
She is now paralyzed and preparing to fly back to California in about two weeks

This is the friend who came along unannounced to do a review on the Japanese Bbq food truck. Off the bat this guy was negative the whole time, even trash talking them.
In my opinion I think his behavior was worse than his friend that spit out the food. I’m not sure if they planned on just being negative as a rage bait tactic but whatever they did, worked. Everyone is talking about these two now but not in a good way. I feel if he was being honest, then he’s entitled to his opinion also, however do it with respect.
I would never show up unannounced, expecting free food and special treatment, and then trash talk the people who agreed to work with me. I’ve always believed that shows immaturity and lack of class. I think it’s possible, and it shows, that he really has no idea what he’s talking about, like sending someone raised on McDonald’s to go and review five star dining. It goes over their head. Since this incident, both of them have issued apology videos out of necessity, not out of remorse. They are publicly shamed for their behavior for this and rightfully so.

The influencer that was disrespectful towards a food truck in Japan is now facing massive backlash. He has now issued an apology for his actions. Let’s recap, he messaged a food truck in Japan and asked to do a review. He arrived two days early, brought a friend unannounced and then proceeded to spit out his food after he claimed he didn’t like it. I can’t help but feel that this is scripted and feels forced to me. I’ve watched his videos many times, back when he was first starting out I think he was genuine, he gave his honest opinion good or bad, but he did it respectfully. I feel as he got bigger in followers, he had to create some shock value to differentiate himself from all the other people doing the same style of videos. That’s why I think he started being rude and disrespectful to others, is to create a buzz around his name. I’ve always felt that I am entitled to my opinion, however I think I can express my opinion and be true to myself without maliciously bringing down others as well. I know many of these people are doing these videos for the money, that has always been clear to me. However I feel it can still be done in such a way that is valuable to the viewers while being honest at the same time as well. I don’t think people like him would even be apologizing or regretting their actions if it wasn’t affecting their bottom line.
