You should know that headlines matter. Most people don’t even click the article. So yes, when you put inaccurate, exaggeratory words like “disaster” in the headline, it is misleading, inaccurate and disrespectful to some of the most notable people in the industry who are consummate professionals.

“Disaster” is an insane and wildly inaccurate word choice. New broadcasts always require tweaks and adjustments…that’s part of innovation and new ways of doing things. Calling it a “disaster” isn’t analysis, it’s exaggeration. We have got to stop making extreme negative takes the “cool,” viral, clickbait thing to default to. It’s lazy. You can dislike certain aspects of something without using insulting words towards consummate professionals on the desk, in the booth and in the production truck.
