Maybe you should wonder WHY platforms are killing the hashtag. It was one of the few remaining ways for users to control content categorization/distribution. Platforms are incentivized to phase it out because it shifts organizational power away from real people and toward them.

You don't have to post on this platform. You don't have to keep it relevant for the fascists. It ceases to be a useful tool for them when it is no longer a primary information source or social space. There are alternatives that are strictly better.
