@ncspeakerhall Thank God @NC_Governor is standing up for what is right in the world. I think it's ridiculous that @ncspeakerhall wants to simplify (sorry, I meant dumb things down) to make these things sound positive. They aren't. Good on the governor and I hope his veto carries.

HB 805 would put into law simple concepts like: ☑️ affirming parental rights ☑️ prohibiting taxpayer-funded gender transition procedures for prisoners ☑️ defining male and female ☑️ protecting women and children Gov. Stein vetoed this bill and sided with radical activists over the overwhelming majority of North Carolinians. We will keep fighting.

I feel like many many people just don't know how politics work. They think the president can just do whatever they want like they are king. While they do have access to executive orders, even those can be overturned by the Supreme Court. The Senate and House are where policy changes actually happen. Right now the Democrats have 51 seats in the Senate, 2 more than Republicans. The House is still majority ruled by Republicans, who have 9 more seats than Democrats. So major policy changes have to go through all of it and the simple fact is that very little makes it to the president to sign. This is a major problem with a two-party system and prevents a ton of changes from making it through

I'm not gonna lie this actually makes me happy to hear. I bought a lifetime membership to trade ballistics and then shortly after it became the FU money club. Then my lifetime membership was supposed to be for 6 months before I have to pay. Now it's through September. I'm not saying that the club isn't worth it but man my lifetime membership definitely didn't last very long. I was honestly hoping you were going to separate yourself from it just from that reason alone
