The @budonian successfully handed over proceeds from the Cancer Dinner Fundraiser (held on 22/ November 2025 at @spekeresort) to the Children's Cancer Ward at the @UgandaCancerIns, on Thursday, 26th March 2026. The @UgandaCancerIns team was led by the Executive Director Dr. Jackson Oryem, alongside Dr. Yvonne Bwikizo, Senior Nursing Officer & Senior Manager Mariam Ndagire, and other staff. The team from the club was led by @pwadimba who oversaw the preparations for the dinner. He was accompanied by other members of the club who represented the broad community of Budonians and our compassion towards supporting our society. Dr. Oryem noted the subtle and yet one of the most important factor in cancer treatment, this being nutrition. He further highlighted that bodies of the patients under treatment need the necessary nutrition for the body to be able to withstand the strong treatment it is subjected to. 🥗 We are therefore glad to state that the contribution is aimed at improving nutrition at the children's ward as this has proved to be a challenge in the recent past. The club pledges continued support to improve treatment at the children's ward. We appreciate all those that contributed towards this dinner in your various capacities. It is because of you that this has been possible. For God and my country Gakyali Mabaga. #Budo@120 #Budototheworld

ONLY PHARMACISTS: The Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda (@pharmacistsug) has broken its silence on Uganda’s new drug law, insisting supervision of medicine production must remain in the hands of trained pharmacists. The society pointed out that globally, pharmaceutical production is supervised by pharmacists who are legally responsible for product quality, and so should be the case in Uganda. 🔗 Read Full Story Here: dailyexpress.co.ug/2026/03/31/new… #ExpressUpdates

Arsène Wenger on Arsenal winning the league: Arsenal are winning the league — no excuses, no explanations. They have everything it takes to do it. And if they win it, it will not be because their opponents were weak. In fact, this has been one of the greatest Premier League seasons of the century. A season where almost every team has had its moment at the top. There were periods where Bournemouth looked unstoppable, then Sunderland took control, Chelsea dominated, Liverpool surged, Aston Villa looked like contenders, and now Manchester City are having their run. At different moments, every one of these teams made people believe they could win the league. But through all of that chaos, there has been one team that kept standing — Arsenal. Constant. Consistent. Resilient. Even when setbacks came, Arsenal remained there. Their quality, mentality, experience, and belief have taken them further than many expected. And believe me, when Arsenal win this league, it will not just be a title. It could be the beginning of a long and dominant era. That is the real warning to the rest of the league. 🔴⚪️

I never thought I'd see the day where a referee had the balls to stick to his decision and dismiss the VAR review. Then again, it was the worst of the worst in the VAR booth, Darren England. Well done Farai Hallam 👏
