Gutted. Huge questions need to be asked, and accounted for. Shambolic leadership, or to be fair …lack of. Entirely on the owners. A woeful managerial appointment and all else …
Ruined a club that was punching way above its weight in previous years.

@jswindle29 Completely fair play to Morecambe, fully deserved! I tweet from a Dale perspective and replied to the reaction from our fans?
Not taking anything away from Morecambe what so ever!

Am I the only person that saw this happening?
The celebrations and injury time goal last week papered over an awful performance at Sutton.
We are struggling at the moment compared to previous performances and glimpses of mentality and in game substitutions from last season creeping up under the pressure.
BUT the meltdown won’t help. We need to back the lads.
Still so many twists and turns still yet to happen in my opinion.
This isn’t over and before a ball was kicked at the start of the season us fans would’ve killed to be in this position.
Have your sulk and then get behind them again on Monday at Hartlepool.

I left a stable job to work in football. It paid 20% less. I'd do it again tomorrow.
I was at Sky Bet for over six years. Good salary. Clear progression. Comfortable.
Then a big round of redundancies hit. My role was at risk. I wasn't made redundant in the end, but it forced me to ask a question I'd been avoiding.
If this job disappeared tomorrow, would I be upset about losing the work or just the security?
The answer was just the security. And that told me everything.
Within a few months I'd taken a role in football. Less pay. No company benefits. No clear ladder. No safety net.
People thought I was mad. And honestly? They weren't entirely wrong.
Working in football isn't the stable alternative people imagine.
Contracts are short. Managers get sacked and bring their own people. You can be doing great work and still lose your job because someone above you changed.
The hours are longer. The glamour isn't really there.
But the difference is I was having an impact in the game I love. Watching players, writing reports, sitting in recruitment meetings where my opinion shaped real decisions. That changes everything.
If you've been sitting in a role for years and the only reason you stay is the salary, that's worth paying attention to. That feeling doesn't go away. It gets louder.
The redundancy scare didn't end my career at Sky Bet. But it started a conversation with myself that I couldn't undo.
Sometimes the best thing that happens to you is nearly losing something you didn't actually want.

@cylertarter When they were fucked with injury’s, swear they put a centre half up top who scored? And 2 nil down in rapid🤣

@Seagie85 @MorecambeFCFeed Lose tomorrow we know what legaue we’ll be in haha

Really good pricing but we only have 11 days to buy one at this price. We don't know what league we'll be in next season, who the manager will be and Panjab still refuse to answer questions put to them by the Shrimps Trust.
