@PatrickMoranTB @PatrickMoranTB if you need to kill time I'm off 75 exit 220 and Go Bills!

@PatrickMoranTB Weather + spring break = hold your socks when you are insane enough to pick this time with any FL visit

@ByTimGraham I choose to believe I will have me Ellia than @Matt_Bove and for that I choose to positively look forward. There once was a time I could feel good about contributing to your pupper's dog food. Gone are those posts and those good 'ol days.

"Lack of fact-based positivity"?
The Bills are in the middle of a weird offseason of their making. No one has any idea if what they're doing will work. But they have a 1st-time HC who'll continue to call plays fans didn't love, a 1st-time DC and a similar roster to 2025.
WHEEE!
Brett Moss@brettmoss
@ByTimGraham @ByTimGraham as much as I love your writing and a number of your stories around the Bills, you lack of fact based positivity is exhausting. How about taking a moment to speak of what we can do with what we have and the great opportunities those motions present us?
English

They say to avoid going into the draft with a glaring need if possible so Beane’s going into the draft with glaring needs at like 4 positions so no one can predict what he’s going to do.

@SalSports @Matt_Bove Nothing is going to happen. Our WR room is set. The D will take a couple of years to build out. It is just too hard to sustain a team when a GM is paying his star QB1 so much money. Now about replacing Matt with Ellia....
English

If something big happens with the Bills, @Matt_Bove and I will go live from the Sabres pressbox! (Or a closet nearby)

English

@Matt_Bove As long as you leave Ellia here as an awesome daughter to be named later, I will allow it.
English

@ByTimGraham @ByTimGraham knows that it is next to impossible to build a talking points plan when your in market NFL quarterback is making as much as he is.
English

@SalSports @SalSports , we here in Bradenton know exactly what icing is - it is the top of the cake and is primarily consisting of sugar. Next time you do UTC promos how about stopping by?
English

I went to games in Tampa in the Lightning’s early existence and they literally had literature for fans explaining what offsides and icing was. No joke.
Kuch4MVP@kuch4mvp
The most egregious thing about Sabres fans is the immense irony in them calling us bandwagons. They didn’t exist on here before they started winning, and they can’t even fill up their own arena. We’ve been able to do that during any year where we missed the playoffs

@shanaka86 So what you all are saying is that we will know when the Iranian powers that be have gotten beyond desperate to the point that they themselves elect to selectively destroy key elements of Kharg on their own?
English
Nine days of the most intensive air campaign since 2003 and Kharg Island has not been touched.
Kharg is a small rocky island 25 kilometers off Iran’s southern coast. It handles roughly two million barrels per day. Ninety percent of Iran’s crude oil exports flow through its loading jetties. The revenue from those exports funds approximately 40 percent of the Iranian government’s budget, including the IRGC payroll that keeps thirty one provincial commands operational.
One strike on those loading jetties would collapse the regime’s revenue overnight. The coalition has the capability. Three carrier strike groups in theater. Air supremacy confirmed. Eighty percent of Iran’s air defenses destroyed. The Shahran fuel depot in Tehran was hit yesterday. Mehrabad Airport was struck. The Basij base at Azadi Square is burning. The IRGC headquarters is rubble. Seventeen ships sunk. And the one target whose destruction would do more to end this war than every other strike combined sits untouched in the Persian Gulf.
That absence is the strategy.
Kharg Island is defended by aging HAWK surface to air missile batteries and coastal anti-ship missiles. No confirmed modern S-300 deployment on the island itself. Broader Iranian air defenses are degraded 70 to 80 percent. The facility is not untouched because it cannot be reached. It is untouched because reaching it would create consequences the coalition cannot manage.
Destroying Kharg removes Iranian crude from global markets permanently, because rebuilding offshore loading infrastructure under sanctions takes years. Iranian crude accounts for 1.4 million barrels per day of Chinese imports. Removing it spikes Brent beyond $100, potentially toward $150. It triggers a global recession. It unifies the Global South against the operation. It gives China an escalation rationale Beijing currently lacks.
Hitting Kharg ends the regime’s revenue. It also ends the coalition’s ability to contain the economic fallout of the war within manageable parameters.
So the coalition strikes everything else. Fuel depots, airports, command bunkers, naval bases, Basij facilities, air defense networks. It degrades the military. It pressures the population through fuel shortages. It destroys the connective tissue between center and periphery. It eliminates every instrument of state power except the one whose destruction would be decisive but economically catastrophic.
Kharg Island is the red line the coalition drew for itself. Not publicly. Not through any announced policy. Through the observable pattern of nine days of strikes on everything around it and nothing on it.
The untouched terminal tells you more about the constraints governing this war than any briefing from the Pentagon. The coalition can destroy Iran’s military. It cannot destroy Iran’s oil exports without destroying the global economy in the process. That constraint defines the ceiling of what this campaign can achieve.
The war can degrade Iran. It cannot bankrupt Iran. Because the instrument that would bankrupt Iran would bankrupt everyone else first.
Kharg sits in the Gulf, loading crude, while everything around it burns. That is not an oversight. That is the architecture of a war with a limit it cannot cross.

@DomTibbettsTV @Matt_Bove @SalSports , why waste all your pod time with that @Matt_Bove dude when his daughter is clearly the star of the fam? I think changes (just like the Bills) are in order here.....
English

“Hey Dom, not feeling great today you’ll have to cover the Sabres game on your own.”

The regime is rapidly ceasing to exist. That's by design. Once there is a leader willing to renounce nuclear weapons and offensive ballistic missiles and stop fomenting terror, the campaign ends.
For those with their panties in a wad, the aim of WWII was regime change; Hitler and Tojo had to go. Do you regret that total victory and the elimination of those regimes was accomplished?

@xLauren_Mx Reminds me of a messy situation with a certain NFL team near the end of the season where they waived their player before the acquired player refused to report.
