@bigredshady McCord typically did not have time to scan the field. MJH was usually the 1st target. If he could create more time by moving in/around the pocket he could be very effective. He’s a statue. Day needs to give in to the dual threat QB option.

I believe this 100%. OSU had receivers open all season. McCord dependence on Harrison clouded his judgement. Does that change next season with Harrison, Stover, and likely Egbuka gone? Or does Day look for a QB in the portal? Day called a great game Saturday.

Yeah but that might be more to do with McCord than Day, I have issues with Day but when it comes to the position he puts his QB in , I def don’t , he’s like the best in college at that . McCord just limited a lot of what he used to do with them dudes it was obvious he would be frustrated on the sidelines watching McCord miss throws, both them guys are first round draft picks it was easier to be more open with the playbook with them guys , Day had other issues but not with how he handled McCord
