Hard to describe the last 2 Red Sox games as anything other than non-competitive. 17 runs given up over the last 18 innings. 2 more errors racked up tonight. That’s the opposite of the run prevention model they’ve preached. 5th-fewest runs scored. 7th-most Ks. Bring on Crochet.

Roman Anthony has struck out 4 times tonight. Did it twice last season. On July 21st and 22nd. Lots of pressing across the board right now. Red Sox have struck out 13 times total.

At the request of Alex Cora, Andruw Monasterio has been working with OF coach Kyle Hudson to see if he can be an option out there, per @timbhealey. Monasterio was first told about the plan when he made the team.

@Section10Pod Besides not adding a power bat, most upset at retention of Fatse, this team has the worst hitting approach and lack of adjustments.

The Sox are 1-3. What are your thoughts on this team so far?
