happy thursday, momb made me go to vet for crime of puke, not eating turkeys and looking Sad. They look at my guts and bloods, they say Teddy your pancreas is being Evil. Making you sick and stuff. I say ok. momb give me pain medicines. I sit highly in hallway for long time

I was really anxious last night. The meds didn’t work well (they are this morning). Dad held me until. I stopped shivering (I was cold). It’s hard going from walking three-plus miles a day to sitting in a confined area. My humans are trying their best.

@judesgray This one is a Southcliffe but he often has Durham's too. Depends which one is on offer. Flavours are a bit different with Durham's. They do Christmas ones like Turkey and Brussels and chicken and strawberry

Mika is getting three bird feast tonight (chicken, turkey and duck) with a splash of salmon oil for his floof and a sprinkle of seaweed powder for his teeth. He never eats straightaway, always hangs on until I've finished in the hope he may get a bit.

My beautiful rusty girl left us today. She would've turned 15 tomorrow on April Fools' Day. Recently her health took a very sudden and sharp decline, and we had a vet help her pass peacefully at home with us

There’s a cool feature in Latin, the gerundive, which is a verbal adjective implying that something should/must happen. A few of them survive into English words: If someone should be revered, they are “reverend”. If something must be cut away, it is a “dividend”. My favorite: if a story is so good that it simply must be read by everyone, it is “legend”! Latin reverendus/a, dividendum, and legenda. Pretty cool that what is sometimes a difficult concept for Latin learners is actually present in English, albeit rarely. Do let me know if there are any good ones I’ve missed.

We have to share the incredibly sad news that Tiger passed away today. The vet found that his liver and several other organs were, sadly, severely affected by cancer. It was an incredibly difficult decision for us, but for his own good we decided to let him go peacefully today.
