The Times: “The slowdown (in illegal immigration) began in October and now appears established. As of yesterday 6,416 small-boat migrants had reached Britain compared with 9,885 by April 30 last year, a drop of more than a third. The number of crossings is the lowest at this point at this stage of the year since 2023, when it was 5,745. This is despite significant numbers of “red days” when weather and sea conditions were good enough to attempt a crossing.” Could Farage and his colleagues not be commenting on that because it doesn’t suit their political agenda?

I know there is a lot of news around but can someone at the Beeb explain to me how a man they keep telling us might be the next PM getting an undisclosed donation of FIVE MILLION POUNDS from a Thai based crypto dealer (with a BS explanation about it being for lifelong security) is not even a news story when the man he wants to replace led the news for days over some glasses and Arsenal tickets?

Doctors, dentists, pharmacists, and opticians all opposed becoming state-employees.
They were worried that the government would undermine their profession (and salaries).

SICK of repeating this but I’m so DONE with the “free money, free phones” narrative that asylum seekers/refugees get. This is the truth.
Asylum seekers can’t claim benefits. You need an NI number to do that. Asylum seekers aren’t staying in 5* hotels. Asylum seekers get £49.18p a week to live on. Could YOU live on that? NOPE. So stop pretending they’re here living it large.

If you are too ill-informed or ideologically driven to speak factually on masks, @Nigel_Farage, then please just stop. Spreading medical disinformation (in this case, the erroneous claim that there’s no evidence showing masks protect against flu) is just dangerous.
