as fun as it is seeing script kiddies getting owned. destruction of property is kind of really bad and this just proves that riots kernel level anticheat is essentially malware. i will never play a game by riot and i hope they get sued/class actioned.

Twitch allegedly putting out an update that accidentally breaks the old open-source 7TV extension (makes the message input disappear entirely) at the same time they're pushing users towards the new closed-source extension is some pretty interesting timing. 🤔

if y'all use 7tv and have mysteriously lost your twitch chat bar, make sure you go to the website and grab the new recommended extension!

@danifangs definitely a phishing attempt or scam of some sort. i got a similar comm request last night with a Notion link. it came from a fresh account (created in May, no profile picture or anything) called Royhut. i reported them and they were banned this morning. 🙂

Got my first phishing/scamming attempt last night where the person (fresh account) sent a generic "love your art" message and attached a Notion link for their reference images in a custom proposal. Didn't even click the link, I just knew 😌☕️

@tacticow my understanding is that as you're typing the keyboard will change the size of hit detection on the keys that it thinks you'll press next based on your commonly used words... then they shoved AI into it. nytimes.com/wirecutter/rev…

I dont know if im old or my iphone sucks, but I do so many spelling mistakes even tho i feel like im hitting all the right keys Its so annoying and inconsistent it cant just be me messing it up :(
