ALERT: Father sentenced to only 3 years in California prison after pleading guilty to incest with his daughter and causing her to commit s*icide. Makayla Rene Settles turned 18 and moved from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Moorpark, California, with her biological father, Stephen Vincent Chavez, 41, to start college and build a new life. After a family reunion, Chavez stopped on the way home and purchased alcohol for the two of them, and then Chavez s*xually abused Makayla. Makayla then took her own life a few months later. Chavez pleaded guilty to one felony count of incest and one misdemeanor count of furnishing alcohol to a minor. His formal sentencing is scheduled for June 23rd in Ventura County Superior Court, where prosecutors say he is expected to receive 3 years in state prison and register as a s*x offender for 20 years.

Being from Michigan. It’s actual paradise. Summers are coveted, winters can be very active depending on your ability to be adventurous. Honestly minus the liberals ruining this state. It’s pretty amazing. Michigan is really a RED state. We just have crooked elections from our two main populated cities in the state which dictate our state elections.

It’s a long way away from Florida.

@VigilantFox To anyone wanting to get off antidepressants. Wean yourself off them by cutting them up & taking less. Take 3/4 of the pill for one week, then 1/2 pill for one week & then 1/4 of a pill for one week. At the same time drink lots of water. WALK! Walk 1-2 hours every day. Keep busy

@VigilantFox It took me 20 years to get off them! Once you start to face the choices you are making is making you depressed and anxious it becomes alot easier to get off them! I also incorporated Reiki, meditation, exercise and counseling and it worked. I was also ankle to get off all meds!
