"it's a marathon, not a sprint" remains some of the best career advice I have ever been given

Came up with a basic website where you can compare volume, OI, funding, spread and depth (2%) for pairs across perp dexes.
futflows.com
manually calculating depths annoyed me and made me come up with the idea.
S/o to @julesdesmit for devving.
Current integrated dexes:
@HyperliquidX
@Lighter_xyz
@edgeX_exchange
@DriftProtocol
@extendedapp
@paradex
@pacifica_fi
@VestExchange
@hibachi_xyz
@Aster_DEX
@vertex_protocol

@januszg_ @Lombard_Finance if i understand your point correctly, this isn’t just specific to lombard, but any asset bridged into an L2 with such security risks right?

recently reviewed @Lombard_Finance's LBTC implementation. i think it's well done. it's cool to see that it's in the top 5 bitcoin bridges by volume
but, trust related to LBTC isn't solely with the protocol. if LBTC is deployed on a chain through their canonical bridge with no proving system in place, then uses no longer solely trust the Lombard Protocol. They primarily trust the operators of the project (because they run the sequencer) to not propose a malicious state update and rug the bridge, taking the LBTC tokens with it
if you're an LBTC user, I'd recommend following our upcoming review on the protocol and tracking L2Beat's work analyzing ethereum l2s & their bridges. we'll also cover which chains have native Lombard bridging and which rely on their own canonical bridge implementation
this is the scary thing with BTC derivatives. with any given deployment on any given chain, risk and centralization of trust can compound very quickly

After five years of building, the day has finally come. There have been many twists and turns, many victories and setbacks, but we did it.
I've been proud to lead this team to this point. But to be clear, this accomplishment wouldn't have been possible without the work of dozens of employees, hundreds of ambassadors, and thousands of community members. But I'd like to give a special shoutout to @1HowardWu, @secparam, @matthew_d_green, @zkproofs, Sean B, and Alessandro C. for giving birth to this dream by authoring the Zexe paper in 2018.
I couldn't be more excited about what comes next and to see what developers build now that @AleoHQ is live.

Today, we launch the next generation of Light.
Together with @heliuslabs
At its core, a new primitive:
Tokens and accounts: orders of magnitude cheaper,
while enabling native ZK compute on Solana.
We call it:
ZK Compression.

@lopeetall that’s often what i hear from people who did go :) i think the one thing im missing is people to interface with, either for learning together or just asking questions. luckily most people in zk are quite approachable i’ve learned recently!
English

@julesdesmit i did that and the learning environment and focused practice is definitely helpful for learning a lot more material more quickly. but it also sucked. i am lot happier studying math on my own
