Humor an old gal for a sec? I see the phrase "kpopification" of otome floating around, and while I get it, I also... don't get it?? Is it normal for kpop fans to pit members of the same group against each other??
Okay, so, I come from the era of the American boyband (BSB FOREVER). And yeah, things could get REALLY INTENSE in those fandoms. But we never pitted the boys against each other. If one boy won a popularity contest, to us, the entire group won.
That's why I cannot wrap my mind around the idea of "stolen elements" and "reheated nachos" because... yeah? Of course they are going to share themes? They are from the SAME GAME. Sharing elements between characters from the same story ensures a cohesive narrative. Just like how members of a same group would share themes and styles to show that they are one singular UNIT.
If how I see infighting between LADS girlies is a reflection on actual Kpop stan culture, then good grief, no wonder y'all are so goddamn miserable.

genuine question, why would they hate it if valko got released? i need reasonable answers because i don’t see the problem. like i don’t see how valko can affect your main negatively.
if valko gets released and there’s a 6th LI, shouldn’t they be happy because they get to save dias and wishes when a new valko banner is introduced? (there will also be yellow stellactrums to help in combat)
bday banners lasts for 7 days
solo banners lasts for 10 days
myth banners lasts for 14 days
you can save up lots of resources by not pulling in between those days, especially if you have aurum pass
for example in a myth banner that lasts two weeks, if you have aurum pass:
+1400 dias - 2 weeks worth of aurum pass
+840 dias - shc 36/36 rewards
+700 dias - daily login
+500 dias - reward when you complete their event
+300 dias - 2 weeks of weekly checklist
+100 dias - 2 weeks of weekly home checklist
+20 dias - 2 weeks of sharing game content
(not to mention the compensation for server maintenance = 200 dias)
then if you purchased the 3 anniversary offers:
+240 dias - 2 weeks of weekly diamond gift
+200 dias (max) - 2 weeks of weekly premium satchel
+2 deepsace wishes - 2 weeks of weekly wish gift
also other dia rewards if valko was released:
20 dias per main story combat 3-stars completion (x4 bc there’s 4 combats per chapter = 80 dias)
100 dias per 5-star solar pair rank up
50 dias per 5-star rank up and upgrade each

30 dias per 4-star rank up and upgrade each

also, when a solar or multi banner reaches no. 1 in cn app store, they give deepspace wishes where (if you want) you can save for your main.
if you don’t like him, you can skip his banners and grind for more resources? you can buy cheap packs to lower pity for your main. you can not unlock him, or unlock him so you can just autoplay his contents for dias.
like do they hate his character? visuals? do you think hating an LI is cool (because some just want validation from cn girlies who hate valko)? or do you hate us valkyries (valko supporters) because you feel like we’re dragging other LI’s down through individual actions? (e.g., shaming you for logging in, pulling, buying packs, begging you to hold off from spending during the initial release of your main’s new banner)
because i’m sorry for what you’ve experienced, but that doesn’t mean you can generalize all supporters to be the same. personally, i don’t care how often you log in or how you spend your money. what i don’t tolerate is how you degrade valko and his supporters. but what can i say, sometimes the opposite side starts it first, then retaliation follows.
i know there’s a possibility of raf’s solar myth to be released soon. we’re just asking you to not buy the packs on the first day because it’s the only way for infold to know that we’re pissed. but if you want to buy the packs on the first day, it’s fine because it’s your money. what i don’t tolerate is buying it just to spite us, that’s immature.
also during zayne’s hg, i know some are saying you can get it from the shop. but still free is free, also you’ll be getting dias from that event. so idc if you login to collect those rewards, especially if he’s your main. but if you didn’t login just for our cause, we appreciate it.
we genuinely love the game, and that game (for us) includes valko. a lot of people put so much work to develop just one character and his content. so i hope at least you can respect that in an artist and developer’s perspective. i don’t like shaming other LIs because i love them all
