It’s taken 10 seasons to get here for two giants of AFLW. Universally respected on field & off, from teammates to opposition to fans, & the two most fitting players to hit this milestone first. Plenty more to come from Ally & Noffy, and the rest of the players chasing them.

Daisy Pearce and Erin Phillips represent two very different, but equally worthy versions of women in footy pre-AFLW. Erin pursued other sports after being told no, Daisy raised the standard of the then-VWFL to force the AFL’s hand. Two outstanding people who I am grateful for.
