@drkcarrutherst Reminds me of being taken by dad, with my sister at weekends to the workings mens club, out of the way, whilst mum did housework. Sitting with pop and crisps, whilst dad had a few jars. Making sure we remembered a pack of No 6 for mum. No horses in Stoke though and club gone.

In case anyone wonders at my weirdness - I spent my childhood on the back steps of this pub (The Crown) being handed lemonade and crisps while #Joyce and my dad planned stuff. Now the horses (plus Alfie the donkey) are hoping for a drink. Cracking photo by Josie Armand Smith. 🤓

PhD fail, did my first walking interview today with a participant and it was fab, except I just listened back and it’s not recorded anything. Just white noise 😭
