Gas was super cheap today, so I published the entirety of Genesis, the first book of the Bible to Ethereum. etherscan.io/tx/0x54cd115e1… Only $2.37 for ~200kb. Probably the cheapest transaction I've cleared so far.

We still occasionally public books to the blockchain that we think should be preserved for eternity. Here's Of Mice and Men published to the Ethereum blockchain to be preserved forever. We thought it was a classic that should be preserved, and it just entered the public domain in 2025.

OpenBook on Solana does $2B in volume per day. Don't see any reason we can't do the same on EVM with Jumper.

Openbook on Solana has a large deposit requirement for markets that costs the deployer a lot of fees.
We don't have that. Creating a new market costs 1 cent or less on @base and users cover the costs of their own orders, so options markets will be way easier to run on Jumper.

Btw, once we're done testing on Base and operate for a few weeks, we're going to release on Ethereum L1. People love matching engines and we're confident we can gain traction there, especially in the current low fee environment.

@base Risk isolation is also already implemented. It prevents malicious tokens on one contract from affecting other markets. Similar to how Morpho does lending.

@base We have implemented minimum post order sizes as an anti-spam measure, so the matching engine should have no problem scaling to billions in volume.
Mainnet testing is still in progress for that.

Good time to repeat this: maker, taker, and LP fees are all 0 in our matching engine. So it's the cheapest decentralized trading engine on Ethereum /@base . No indexer or off-chain server is required to operate the DEX so there's no way to take it down either.

Transaction fees are in way under 1 cent so far. Pretty exciting tbh. There's no trading fees (maker, taker, and LP fees are all 0) so gas fees are the only limit. If that stays under a cent (likely considering fills delete chaindata and earn a rebate), it's looking good.
