@lumiflavor @DiscussingFilm i do agree that the timing is a bit absurd, it will be difficult for fans to avoid spoilers, but i think it’s good to have space between the releases. there isn’t much of a motive to see it in theatres if they’re too close together. 2 weeks though is overkill

@junebug_eater @DiscussingFilm It should be, and I think no one would have an issue with this at all if it weren't two weeks apart. Hell, if it was just one week, the reception would be far less negative. It's not really comparable to, say, Iron Lung.

ah yes the indie studio that uploads the entirety of the show for free on youtube, and that’s been translated into 19 different languages,, i genuinely do not understand this criticism. it is premiering in theatres that fans reached out to to promote, they tried to get it into others. adding, i am not american, and i cannot afford to see the film in theatres. this reaction just seems disproportionate and unnecessary when such a small studio getting a release like this should be celebrated.
