This is crazy: the past 4 years, every team that has lost in the Eastern Conference Finals ended up redeeming themselves the very next season: Heat lost ECF in 2022, made NBA Finals in 2023 Celtics lost ECF in 2023, made NBA Finals in 2024 Pacers lost ECF in 2024, made NBA Finals in 2025 Knicks lost ECF in 2025, made NBA Finals in 2026 Cavaliers just lost the ECF in 2026.
