Specific bugs were identified ,missing active roster players like Konnor Griffin, small sample data shown without context, and year tabs defaulting incorrectly. That’s not ignorance of the sport, that’s exactly what knowing the sport looks like. @sloprules himself engaged and acknowledged the feedback. Being affiliated with a tool doesn’t disqualify users from pointing out where it falls short ,that’s actually how products get better. Criticism from informed

@sloprules The core issue is accuracy. For a tool built around data-driven decisions, the stats are misleading especially on the metrics that matter most. When the numbers you’re relying on to make betting decisions aren’t reliable, the entire product loses its value.

You’ve got Brandon Lowe, Cruz, Ozuna, O’Hearn, Reynolds, Horwitz, Davis, Gonzales — but the #1 prospect in baseball who debuted April 3rd, signed a $140M extension and is IN TODAY’S LINEUP is completely absent. This isn’t a small oversight. Griffin is a RHB facing Taillon who allows 2.03 HR/9 vs righties with a 20.3% HR/FB%. That’s one of the most important matchups on the board today and the tool doesn’t even know he exists. Roster sync needs to catch debut players faster than 10 days after their callup. That’s the fix. 🙏”

I think the issue comes down to expectations. Data can't lie. It's data. There is no magic bullet for HR props. Just data that can have you fishing in the right places.

@sloprules I have watched Jake sit on there for literally 3 and 4 hours building slips and they all look AMAZING. Game time comes and they dont do shit and im absolutely baffled. The data does lie... and pretty often. If your making an 8 leg milly and only 1 guy goes... somethings off.

There’s a difference between the player not executing and the tool showing you 45 at bats looking exactly like 262 at bats with no warning. That’s not PlayStation bro — that’s like giving someone a controller with a broken analog stick and saying ‘just play better’ 💀 We not mad. @sloprules since you asked directly ,Statcast barrel% and xwOBA layered into the BvP matchup view, sample size flags on splits under 50 BF, real-time roster sync for debut players, park factor adjustments baked into HR props, and L7/L14 recency windows weighted against season totals. That’s the gap between a research tool and a betting edge tool.

@joshsreads @sloprules @joshsreads this is the most accurate summary of the core problem. Color coded green doesn’t equal edge ,it equals confirmation bias for casual bettors. When 15 ABs looks identical to 262 ABs on the same screen, the tool is doing the work for the wrong side.

@3peatlockedin knowing how to use a tool and identifying where the tool has data gaps are two completely different things. Konnor Griffin missing from active rosters, sample sizes with no warning flags, and year tabs defaulting incorrectly aren’t user errors, they’re product gaps. @sloprules himself is in this thread asking for feedback. Maybe read the thread before dismissing it.

@sloprules the full picture on Happ tells a different story than 15 ABs of green. His 2026 Statcast numbers: 90.5 avg EV, 48% hard hit rate, 20% barrel rate, xwOBA .331. He already homered off a 103 mph four-seamer — literally hit the fastest pitch for a HR in the Statcast era off Mason Miller. He’s also made swing adjustments in 2026 specifically to do MORE damage on fastballs. L15 AB cherry picked in green isn’t analysis , Happ’s full season numbers say he’s one of the most dangerous fastball hitters in the NL right now.” Just saying ….

Knowing ISO, SLG, EV and barrel rates means nothing if the tool is serving you 45 BF of pitcher data with the same visual weight as 262 BF, missing active roster players like Konnor Griffin entirely, and mixing batter/pitcher splits from different years with no flag. That’s not a user education problem. That’s a data accuracy problem. Plenty of sharp.

I honestly think a lot of people don’t know how to properly use @PropFinderApp and have trouble understanding what to look for. There’s so much more to it than just “matching colors” or “looking at batters who are green”. If you don’t know simple things like ISO, Slugging, Exit Velocity , Pitch Mix, and Barrel rates. You should get familiar with that before even betting on anything.

@sloprules season-level xBA/xwOBA shown as predictive for tonight , which is misleading without matchup context. Pitcher’s hard-hit allowed rate not shown alongside batter’s hard-hit%. Early season barrels (5-10 BBE) flagging as ‘hot’ when it’s just noise. Sprint speed displayed statically , no injury/rust adjustment. K% shown separately not as a batter vs pitcher composite. These aren’t edge cases, they’re the metrics bettors rely on most.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
