@junkerbrat It's not really hype that's going to keep him banned. People already showed he has the furthest 2 tap range out of any hit-scan. That alone will keep him perma-banned.

@junkerbrat But mechanically its no different. I personally think GM is actually easier and more fun to play in because of that, if you can get diamond I strongly believe you can get GM! If you care about improving and understanding the game better, it's definitely worth trying :D

is there benefit to getting higher than diamond in rivals? I just want diamond for the boarders. but like, is getting gm+ worth it to grind for beyond bragging rights

@venturetwt I think it has to do with placements. I think. like if they have higher ranks, say diamonds, and your team is full of plats it's gonna say uphill if you win. I think. that's what it's come off like when I play

@Derpin93 then I think that's why we have to wait for the hype to die to actually see him dominating in that way. I prefer hitscan/poke characters and I've barely been able to play him already

@junkerbrat Cyclops is the new hit-scan character. So you have people who don't play hit-scan playing that character. So he seems weaker but if Phoenix is S tier and Cyclops does more damage than her then that would make him best in slot for dps.
