emphasis on #3 cause why the fuck are you guys acting so shocked when disordered people on a disordered community tweet in a disordered way??? like I've already had someone on here go "tell me ur saying this about urself like most people and not promoting EDs??" like that question is just so much to unpack in itself..... but first of all I'm a mentally ill person active on a mentally ill community posting mentally ill shit.. what do u think? and why would u ask that? or even interact when ur in recovery & I'm not posting recovery content... on another account I commented something disordered EXPRESSING my awareness of how messed up my thoughts were , and girl still tried to come for me being like "well r u as small as her?" god forbid I have disordered thoughts and don't see every single skinny girl as my ideal type of thinness, and god forbid I try to express my disordered struggle over that in a DISORDERED COMMUNITY and don't tell me shit about "well u can go to a therapist" cause why in the absolute fuck would communities like this exist if we can't say anything about our struggles. we might as well end all forums and communities with that mindset.

i’m getting really tired of edtwt tbh 1) we have too much publicity and attention on us 2) most of it now is just interaction/rage bait, drama, and chronically online cynical losers 3) you can barely talk about actual disordered experiences/thoughts anymore w/o backlash

I think it’s irresponsible to talk abt edtwt to random ppl on this website. Sure there’s a chance they could be on edtwt, but there’s an equal / greater chance that they’re not?? Also theres a lot of young ppl using this site. Pls just stop talking abt edtwt outside of edtwt
