I feel this so bad. whats important is you recognizing that inner light you used to be, and still are. that piece of you isn’t gone she’s just been sleeping lying right under the surface always ready to welcome you. it won’t happen overnight but the choice to “be you” with all your complexities/quirks regardless of what anyone can say/think is an ongoing journey but embracing it is one of the most freeing rewarding experiences of your life. @wooyolix so when you squeeze an orange peel like that, the oils spray off of it, so typically you squeeze it over the top, swirl it around in the glass, and leave it in there. it adds to the aesthetic and the depth of the flavor. it's subtle but noticeable.

@wooyolix yw! they tend to look like that bc of the amount of ice, and with it being half full, the ice has probably been melting for a bit so it's even more diluted

@wooyolix yeah I'm doubling down on this bc you can see the peel has been twisted so the oil expression is a big part of an old fashioned. props to him tho for no cherry bc I HATE cherries in these but some places make them that way lol
