European Yew is one of my favorite trees. Medieval fairytale tree almost lost since it was an easy wood to work with. The feeling in Central European forests is very comfortable especially when compared with haunted east coast forests of US. Closest to forests of old Europe I believe are in Lower Silesia you can pick Boletus mushrooms, meet gnomes, and have delicious mountain meal. The dessert in the picture is called naleśniki biszkoptowe it is made with local berry sauce and is very good after long morning hike.

Karmelo Anthony trial set for June 1st an obvious attempt to create Summer of Love 2.0 Beginning of summer is the perfect time for street protests prior to midterms and to distract Trump agenda. If it happened in a colder month discourse would stay mostly online, preventing the feeling of an immediate threat to safety as we had in 2020, but a “Trial of the Races” in summer allows young people free time and to be outside, also setting up for high conflict in September with both sides aggravated when entering college. Whether or not riots happen (unlikely to match 2020) an OJ style trial centered entirely on race and video of the killing released will cause significant anger. It would be good for people to stay level headed about what is going to happen in their reactions as to not play into what is expected. Seeds like this are planted often and for your enemy there is no “losing” but rather a decision tree where regardless of the outcome their goals are furthered. React strongly but be smart about it. “Two tier justice system”, an aggressive push against corrupt judges, the illegitimacy of the judiciary, pushing for gang task forces to sweep through cities, or even something more subversive like “I’m withdrawing my kid from high school sports until this problem is solved” are all better than “TND”. As great as it would be for the problem to explode to the point where it must be faced head on, you will never win in America on an explicitly racial issue if you are white. The system that is in place is sturdy and will continue to work against you, the country’s demographics are not in your favor, and Trump will not go far enough to create permanent change that will keep you safe from persecution once he is gone.
