Nearly $3 million was refunded during the Gensyn presale. The total amount refunded was $71.3 million. 194 users requested refunds within 24 hours.
The main reasons for the refunds were:
1) Unfair distribution of GPU-CPU
2) No additional rewards given to Roles
3) Polymarket manipulation. @gensynai

No one here is complaining about the number of tokens received from the testnet the team clearly had a proper calculation method.
We understand that testnet users were the top priority. The concern is not about expecting large rewards purely for roles.
But for the roles, nothing was considered? How is that possible?
Then why even assign roles? Just for fun?
If that’s the case, it should have been stated from the beginning.
How many people actually have roles?
And why does Discord have to be unlocked for a role? It’s supposed to be hard to get and clearly rewarding.
The real issue is why the Pioneer program was introduced at all if roles were never meant to have any value, and why this wasn't clearly communicated from the beginning.
Many of us invested time creating guides, artwork, helping others, and supporting the project because the role program implied recognition. If there was never any plan to reward or recognize this effort, it should have been stated upfront so people could make informed decisions.
If testnet participation was the only metric, then introducing and heavily promoting roles created unnecessary expectations and confusion.
( Please don’t start a trend where role holders get nothing. We’re already tired from the pre-sales as it is.)
