Yall heard me talk enough about the Hammond Collection Indominus Rex, so let’s switch it up to the ugly pug that is Scorpius Rex.
Now unlike Indominus, Scorpius looks decent, not perfect but decent for sure.
The real qualms with this figure is it lacks the underbite it had-

@jurassic_shadow Always found it weird that they call the JP3 male raptor the alpha when in the movie we see the pack of raptors were mainly males with the female commanding and leading the pack

@DABINGMONKEYBOY Remember it’s a Mattel toy, it can be that skinny, it’s pretty good overall and it’s impossible to have it in 1:1, even the HC Spinosaurus who is phenomenal isn’t 100% accurate

@jurassic_shadow It really doesn't, not even close. The figure is WAY too bulky, legs are too thick, head is also way to slanted forward and too shrunken down vertically. Another issue i always have with these figures is that the teeth are WAY too big as well

So Indominus is good, Aquilops is good, Mutadon is bad, Scorpios is phenomenal, Hypsilophodon is boring and Dilo is meh

Most of these figures on their own are really good but the issue is that they just aren't living up to the "Real FX" accuracy to the movies and it feels like that's decreasing more and more
