@penkostephens the cool thing about awa is that even tho she’s not the best defender yet, she is very vocal. that means (to me), it’s something she can develop along the way.

age 35-41 is where the athletic tools a player has are declining. they could still manage to be very impactful due to their IQ but the fall off is majority of the time, pretty noticeable.

i think for most players age 15-24 they’re working on idealizing their peak.
by 25-26, an athlete should know what their peak should/could look like.
by 26-35 should be a player’s peak (anywhere between there or ending beyond)

i think when you have such high potential players as dominique malonga and awa fam on the same team, developing them as “just centers” or “just bigs” puts a cap on their development before they’re allowed to grow.
