On 25th December 1996, I woke up on Christmas Day with nothing. I had 3 slices of bread and a pot noodle for my Christmas dinner. It was the best pot noodle I've ever had. Every year, I do a Christmas collection for young people in care because I know first-hand what it feels like to have nothing. Fast forward 30 years, and lots of young people in our care system will experience the same silence, the same loneliness, and maybe even the same meal. If you can, reach out to your local authority or local providers in your area, people you might know, and donate a gift. #changeiscoming Children in care are still children.
