Lee Kuan Yew abolished trial by jury in Singapore after determining that it was too easy for defence lawyers to appeal to racial and religious biases of juries in multicultural Singapore. He writes in his memoirs how as a young lawyer he was able to get three clients acquitted who he was sure did commit murder. LKY writes that he "worked on the weaknesses of the jury -- their biases, their prejudices, their reluctance really to find four Muslims guilty of killing in cold blood or in a heat of great passion, religious passion, an RAF officer, his wife and child." He writes "The judge was thoroughly disgusted. I went home feeling quite sick because I knew I'd discharged my duty as required of me, but I knew I had done wrong.” Study after study shows that in multi ethnic societies, there is significant in-group bias on juries.

With these newly identified wallets, it appears Michele was not profitable overall and will still be facing serious criminal charges. Looking at the timeline, it seems he began leveraging insider information to trade precisely when his losses were mounting suggesting the insider trading was less a calculated scheme from the start, and more a desperate attempt to recover from a deep losing streak. The confidential information became his edge only after conventional trading had failed him. Insider trading is one of the biggest red flags in this industry, as it continues to erode credibility and trust in this space. I hope more insider traders get caught on prediction markets and exchanges alike. Stay smart.

So Saylor sold $MSTR to get money for $STRC dividends, then sold $STRC to buy Bitcoin, now spent the dividend money to buy back debt, and now needs to sell below his avg to get money for $STRC dividends? Yeah this is the most retarded Ponzi I've ever seen

South Korea Makes First Arrest and Prosecution in DEX Rug Pull Case According to Digital Asset, South Korean prosecutors charged a criminal group accused of manipulating the price of the Solana-based meme coin CATFI and generating KRW 400 million (~ $260,000) in illegal profits, marking the country’s first arrest and prosecution related to a DEX rug pull case. Investigators said the main suspect, surnamed Park, posed on social media as influencer “Eth Father” and falsely promoted CATFI as an independent third party before executing a rug pull that caused KRW 900 million in losses to 256 investors. x.com/fkemgod/status…

PSA: I now consider *all* of DeFi unsafe. Coding agents are superhuman at finding vulnerabilities, and smart contract security is too asymmetric: defenders need to fix every bug while attackers need just one exploit to steal funds.

People really need to stop hating on China man. Every time I’m in a pickle it’s China saving me. Gas prices too high? I’m riding in the BYD. DRAM costs an arm and a leg? CXMT floods the market. Anthropic and OpenAI fucking me on token costs? Hello my friend Mr. Qwen. The CCP has done more for my cost of living than my own government.

The anti-cheat Riot Games employs is so low level that it can break core isolation on the kernel and destroy your hardware and corrupt your operating system. Riot Games is owned by Tencent, a Chinese corporation. China has installed kernel-level spyware in millions of US homes

Riot Games, which installs ring-zero kernel-level anticheat Riot Vanguard on computers to play its games, is bragging about deploying hardware faults to punish cheaters by destroying their GPUs. Explained by anticheat tsar Phillip Koskinas, who posted Trainwreck's IP last week.
