Seriez-vous prêts à payer plus cher votre essence pendant six-huit mois si cela permettait au peuple iranien de se libérer de la République islamique ? Would you be willing to pay more for gasoline for six to eight months if it meant the Iranian people could be freed from the Islamic Republic?

@yamanakanobody I think it's normal to have some level of affection for one's country. Where it becomes silly is if you treat other people as if they're terrible just because of where they are from rather than how they behave.

Give me strength! Just risible, patronising, horse manure, full of kumbaya thought terminating slogans: "international best practice" "culture war" "political football" "rights aren't a cake" And the questioner's riposte? "What about women & girls!"

@treesey @ForWomenScot So this is Alistair Campbell's daughter. I genuinely wish she'd just engaged with this issue. It's very odd watching her join in with a gay man in calling women ugly for standing up for their same sex rights.

Charlie Craggs accepts the UKSC ruling: “Put me in the Men’s: I can handle it and I can handle your husbands. I will give your husbands what they’re not getting at home with you. With your ugly haircuts. I have bigger problems than where I go wee in public” @ForWomenScot

@threenotes_jp I think walking or hiking is a good one. I also spend time learning languages because they're rewarding, they're difficult, and you can measure your progress and challenge yourself to talk to people.

@ThePosieParker That's really wonderful. It's actually nice to hear those relationships exist. My parent's divorce nuked the family wealth- can't complain, just glad there are happy marriages out there.

Something about that video with Grace Campbell and Charlie something: Campbell says 'they are not aspirational, I wouldn't like to be in the room with any of them.' I *was* in the room with them, FWS and the Darlington nurses, the other night, and, frankly, I was in awe. I aspire to their courage, their indefatigability, their sense of solidarity and their fight for women's rights and worker's rights. But, then, I'm just an old-fashioned socialist.

@_ConnieShaw I genuinely can't think of a more obvious state of brainwashing than believing the feelings of men larping as women trump women's rights to same sex spaces. It's utterly mad.

@_ConnieShaw This really does explain a lot. He's done 0 research and wants to please his daughter. So two men on a massive platform never engage and continue to preach that women standing up for their rights are bad, because his daughter thinks so. How direly naff.

@mark_slapinski Having straight people larp as the opposite sex, take over our spaces, shame us for not wanting heterosexual sex with them is a real bummer.

I don't understand the gay people that dislike trans people. It's almost as if they want to go back to the days when being gay was illegal and gays were beaten up in the streets.

@coffee_nakayama Hey, I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time. Life can definitely be quite lonely and frustrating, and right now we live in time where how we connect and hang out with people is both easier and more superficial. Getting a pet like a cat or dog can help and give perspective.

@lorahmoe It depends on how they say it. If it seems connected to a real emotion rather than something blasé then I assume they've had a bad experience and they're venting anger or frustration which is normal. I think it really depends on context.

This is reduplicated babbling, a stage of speech development that typically is months away from the neural connectivity required to intentionally produce specific words. They're apparently asking the baby for the impossible and then refusing the baby closeness as the baby's obvious distress worsens, as they laugh at the baby and prop the baby up.
Billboard Chris 🌎@BillboardChris

These men laugh as the baby cries and says “ma ma ma.” They think it’s funny because “there is no mama.” This baby was designed to never have a mother so that two men could satisfy their selfish desires. It’s impossible for a normal person to watch this without instinctual disgust.

@TTExulansic That poor baby. He doesn't know how to interact with the baby, he's just making him upset, and the baby is reaching out for comfort and he's not giving it to him.
