Some of his family members in China lost their income, and just three days before filming began, one of the lead actors dropped out after receiving threats from the CCP’s United Front operations in Canada. 😠It didn’t stop there. When the film was first set to premiere in Canada, the event was abruptly cancelled just one day before, due to interference from the Chinese government. 😧The irony is striking: the Canadian filmmaker himself experienced the CCP’s “Unrestricted War” firsthand, simply for making a movie called Unrestricted War. 🚨As a result, Yan Ma decided not to release the film in U.S. theaters.
