This woman gives us a tour of her 350 square foot apartment in New York. She has done a great job in fixing it up. Looks nice. But, her rent? “We only pay 3175” is a crazy sentence. 🤯 How do people afford to live in New York? Are they all millionaires? NYC has truly convinced people that paying $4000/month for a literal freakin’ closet is reasonable. 😳 I don’t understand how people willingly live like this for that price, it’s not worth it, especially with no washer and dryer included. Why do people stay in New York? Why pay that outrageous amount? Don’t they know they can get a huge house elsewhere for those prices? What are we missing?

This is the stuff you love to see. An officer was called out to a location because people saw a man sleeping in his car and assumed he must be drunk or up to no good. The officer arrived through actually talking with the man to see what's going on, he saw what this guy has going on. The guys wife lost her job so he has been pulling double shifts to keep the bills paid just pulled over for a bit to catch a nap. Seeing that the guy is just trying to do some good, he got him a coffee to help pep him up so he can fully function for what sounds like a busy day. Great job by this officer for seeing what was going on and going above and beyond.

@aishamusic @Suzierizzo1 I totally agree. So many are struggling. 2/3 of seniors have no pension plan. 1/3 of seniors have less than $10,000 in retirement savings. 58% of those over 65 have under $100,000 in savings. The median in non retirement savings in over 65 group is $13,400.

My grandmother knows people that live in the Villages and they said that the crowd was mostly anti Trump protesters. There were a small amount there for him and he pissed them off by calling them old seniors when he’s older than almost all of them. He made a huge mistake.
