Glad the #Padres got the W, but that was an atrocious call by the umpire. The "airspace" has nothing to do with it being fair or foul. It's the ground that's the deciding factor on this play. Bummed for Miller, but a W is a W. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I don't understand how the #Padres have gone through so many managers in the last decade. Is managing in San Diego really THAT miserable? Or difficult? What's the problem? I know it's not the fans, the city or the ballpark. Is it the org? GM? Players? Make it make sense. 🙄🤦🏼‍♂️

I respectfully disagree with @BenHigginsSD take that Miller should be brought in for high-leverage situations (vs 9th inn.)... There is now an entertainment factor in MLB. Closers are sensationalized w/ video montages and music, and that keeps fans in seats for the entire game.

@KaliThaGreat Totally forgot about Vasquez! Good call. Yes, I would love to see him taken an even bigger step in 2026 and slot into that 3/4 type starter. Assuming AJ doesn't trade him for a bat. 😬🤦‍♂️
