the president can adjourn Congress, but only under specific and narrow circumstances. According to Article II, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution, the president may adjourn both chambers of Congress only if they disagree on when to adjourn. all he need is Johnson to decide they need to adjourn and the senate to say they don't need too and President Trump can do it himself. that is all that has to happen... I have been pissed off with Johnson too because they fucking know this.

I find it amusing how many "reporters" belonging to the press pool for White House press conferences ask questions that Karoline Leavitt can't (and shouldn't) answer. Questions like, "how many soldiers is Trump going to deploy to Iran and when?" WTAF applies here.
