Nova Road (18-year-old male from Gainesville shot, injured) • 10:47 p.m. Saturday: Kingston/Flanders Ave. (59-year-old Daytona Beach male shot, injured) • 11:15 p.m. Saturday: 2 S. All Crew Members of U.S. KC-135 Loss in Iraq Confirmed Deceased TAMPA, Fla. – All six crew members aboard a U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft that went down in western Iraq are now confirmed deceased. The aircraft was lost while flying over friendly airspace March 12 during Operation Epic Fury. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. However, the loss of the aircraft was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire. The identities of the service members are being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.

CENTCOM Update TAMPA, Fla. – Last night, a U.S. service member passed away from injuries received during the Iranian regime’s initial attacks across the Middle East. The service member was seriously wounded at the scene of an attack on U.S. troops in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 1. This is the seventh service member killed in action during Operation Epic Fury. Major combat operations continue. The identity of the fallen warrior will be withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification.

A Volusia Sheriff's Office deputy investigating a battery call in Deltona was shot in the leg and shoulder this evening at 2684 Candler Drive. He is conscious, alert and in good enough spirits to crack jokes with the medical staff treating his injuries. This is a preliminary post - we will have more information to share later this evening. Traffic on Howland and Providence is being rerouted in the area, so please avoid if possible. Thankful our deputy is alive today and hopefully well on his way to a fast recovery.

Iran continues to maliciously launch ballistic missiles, indiscriminately targeting military and civilian locations throughout the region. U.S. forces remain on the hunt to eliminate this threat. As the President has said, our resolve has never been stronger.

This video shows the moment an Iranian ballistic missile hit #Jerusalem Sunday night. Israeli media reports several people were wounded. This attack follows Iran’s direct strike earlier in the day on a synagogue in Beit Shemesh that killed nine people.

A short while ago, the IDF identified missiles launched from Iran toward Israel. Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat. In the past few minutes, the Home Front Command has sent a precautionary directive directly to mobile phones in the relevant areas.

I agree with @RepCarlos. We need a full investigation into this deeply concerning situation and to determine what happened. The Communist Cuban regime must be held accountable!

I’ve directed the Office of Statewide Prosecution to work with our federal, state, and law enforcement partners to begin an investigation. The Cuban government cannot be trusted, and we will do everything in our power to hold these communists accountable.

The DNA that was submitted to CODIS was from the set of gloves found 2 miles away. It did not trigger a match in CODIS & did not match DNA found at the property. The DNA found at the property is being analyzed & further testing needs to be done as part of the investigation.

Law enforcement activity is underway at a residence near E Orange Grove Rd & N First Ave related to the Guthrie case. Because this is a joint investigation, at the request of the FBI - no additional information is currently available.
