@LoriHC Currently a combination of background app refresh and push notifications to trigger a data update and transferCurrentComplicationUserInfo call. Upcoming version is using background URLSession in place of this which has been much more reliable.

I'm curious: If your watch app has a complication, how do you keep your complications up to date?

Looking at getting a family iPad for car trips and learning games for our kids. Does cellular matter?

@stroughtonsmith Getting very close to launching an independent watchOS version of @whatsmyeta 100% SwiftUI, calendar integration, lists that are fully managable on the watch and customisable complications.

@WillRBishop @qzervaas It might be possible by adding a new independent watch target and then removing the old watch/iOS targets after migrating your watch code over. But I don't think app store connect would accept a build if you’ve previously uploaded an iOS target for that bundle id.

Can someone show me how to move to a watchOS independent exclusively app? Say I have an app with an iOS and watchOS target, and I want to completely remove the iOS element of it, how would I do that? Any chance you'd know @qzervaas ?

@tapbot_paul It’s been a challenge but the new features we get out of the box are worth it.
