Honestly, I’m tempted to hang around for the disaster porn — it’s like the slow motion wreck of a train loaded with dumpster fires — but on balance I think a clean break is better

Unlike many of you here, I don’t have particularly fond memories of Twitter. It’s there, I use it, whatever. However, I’m outraged that one utter bawbag can do this much damage just because he’s rich *sigh*

@justkwin @peternlewis @justkwin is the “data protection” keychain what shows up as “Login Items”/iCloud in Mac? Is there any CLI tool to interact with that like security is capable of interacting with login.keychain?

So do I understand correctly that there is no non-deprecated replacement for SecKeychainOpen, ie for opening a private keychain file?

This is such a good tip. I have a hot key that uses text-to-speech to read out the current selection. It flushes out all sorts of problems, just as this preso explains [Hence that wacky bug report, @siegel]

Does that mean that I cannot have special items protected in a second keychain that has its own (longer) password? We need this in a medical environment for sensitive resources.
