We’re in a Pokemon recession. Modern sets have had massive print runs, due to increased demand from flippers, backing PSA up and making rare cards populations extremely high. In the last 3 months, the PSA 10 Phantasmal Flames Charizard has dropped almost $1,000 in value. Many cases of this across the board as supply does not meet speculative demand. Vintage cards are still performing well, but modern is becoming accessible again. Is this the start of a Pokémon bear market???
