There are moments where even I don’t practice what I preach. 😑❌ We once closed a NASDAQ trade at break-even… and shortly after, price sold exactly the way we expected. Watching it play out had me like… "What did you just do?" But it’s a good reminder of something I always tell my mentees: trade what you see, not what you think. At the time, the way the market was moving made it feel like the sell setup wasn’t going to hold from that zone anymore, like the market was going for some buy side liquidity first. I started thinking the narrative had changed, instead of simply trusting the analysis and letting the trade play out. So we exited early instead of allowing the trade to either hit TP or SL. And honestly, this just shows that no matter how long you’ve been trading or how experienced you are, you’re still human. There will always be those small moments where psychology tries to creep in. The key is learning from them. One of the biggest lessons trading teaches you is mastering the subtle art of not giving a f*ck once the trade is placed. You take the trade. You set your stop loss and take profit. And then you let the market do what it does. Nothing in between except maybe moving to break-even or taking partials. But that’s it, lesson learned. We move. ↗️
