🆕As of April 2024, our liquid biopsy #ctDNA results🔢show up directly in the electronic medical record of a patient just like any other routine lab. This is a huge step for our patients and all physicians to be able to see these results realtime/easy access.🙌🏾 #LiquidBiopsies

Let's not throw the baby out w the bathwater for COVID-19 (and flu etc)!
Suggesting to only run PCR & not rapid means most (50%-80%) of patients get WORSE care & at higher costs

I’m constantly reviewing papers where Gapdh is used as a housekeeping gene, including in bone marrow & adipose tissues. It’s TERRIBLE for these because it increases in adipogenesis. Please use other genes (& several of them, eg genomebiology.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…)

A reminder that the abundance of 'house keeping' proteins varies significantly across cells and tissues. GAPDH (glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase) is often slandered a 'house keeping' protein, and its abundance varies significantly across human tissues.
