Thank you to the SW Area for hosting the Provincial Carol Service at St Andrew’s Church, Bournemouth yesterday. Well attended with excellent support from the Mayor of Bournemouth, Wessex Chorus, families and friends. Rounded off with refreshments at the Knole.

A privilege to be with over 200 Visiting Officers on Friday at the Novotel. A relaxing evening with a meaningful presentation from the MCF. I was pleased to be able to reinforce the importance of the VO role. The engagement, re engagement of our members must be our priority.

A privilege to attend the Hamble DDay Commemoration Service and Parade with the RBL yesterday. Our Branch DDay Vet, W Bro Stan Rickeard, Legion d’Honour, recited the Exhortation. Hamble was one of the gathering points for troops prior to the Operation.
